Adelphi are a rare breed of independant bottlers. They accept only the finest casks and age them until they are at their peak, often released at cask strength with no chill fillering, colours or anything else that could get in the way of the amazing liquid each bottle contains. This whisky may be young, but don't let it fool you. There's a good reason they released it after 8 years and that reason is sherry. Lots of it. This is one of the darkest whiskies we've seen, and bottled at 67% there's nothing really getting in the way of it. Dark chocolate, fudge, molasses, spice, deep rich fruits and a tonne of character goes on and on, you can still taste this bad boy 10 minutes later. This is an incredible drop and we've never seen anything quite like it. Grab it while you can...
