Nose: Untamed and spicy with a hit of sweet yellow chiliand sauteed prunes followed by smoky sweet red capsicums and roasted almonds with a splash of mirin. 

Palate: Smoky, spicy and vegetal again with a smooth layer of pecans and burnt sticky date pudding. White pepper and savoury cinnamon play second fiddle to the more juicy components. 

Finish: Sweet barbequed peppers and a drizzle of honey mixed in with some warming spice. Sweet roasted nuts with winter spice is the lasting note.
