Michel Couvreur is a French negociant who imports Scotch whiskies to his facilities in Burgundy, France, where they undergo a slow maturation in different casks. While this may sound unusual to say the least, the result is a simply lovely unfiltered whisky blended from more than fifty different malts. Matured for 3 years in Moscatel and Oloroso casks, light in colour, but quite sweet and elegant, fantastic nose of nuts and raising and very long aftertaste.
