Bees & Fruit Trees

With great pride, we introduce to you the 3rd edition in the Hand In Hand series of bottlings! Appropriately dubbed Bees & Fruit Trees , this release is something truly special and bursting with fresh apple and waxy goodness.

The Hand In Hand bottling series brings together three of Australia's premier whisky destinations in that of The Oak Barrel, Whisky & Alement and Casa De Vinos. Previously, we've released a stellar Ardmore and Laphroaig, so are exceptionally excited for you all to taste this equally impressive cask of whisky.

Carefully selected by all three venues for its stunning vibrancy, this is a Secret Highland distilled in 2010 and matured in a bourbon cask. Many of the experienced drinkers among you will likely be able to work out where this waxy, apple-driven juice has come from on those notes alone, but the secret nature of this bottling has allowed us to get a little inventive with our labelling. Hand crafted by Blake Wilson of The Oak Barrel, we're presented with a master teaching a young apprentice the art of waxing, wax on, wax off if you will.

Nose: Fresh, floral apples and peaches. Fruit, fruit and more fruit. Slight candlewax and light spice.

Palate: Canided apples with a light, zesty moutfeel. Soft, freshly dropped apples in a cider orchard. Light bitumen.

Finish: Long and luscious developing slowly with a strong fruit and spice kick at the end. Fruit and freshness combined together.

Limited to only 120 bottles, and bottled at 52.4% Abv, we hope you enjoy this fantastic release.
