It is no secret that Springbank is one of the house favourite distilleries at Casa de Vinos. And here is another rare opportunity to add a Campbelltown gem to your collection.
Made from local barley from Low Machrimore Farm a few miles outside of Campbeltown. This whisky is aged in 80% ex Bourbon and 20% ex Sherry barrels. The first release of the local barley series the 9000 bottles that were released in 2016 are not either fertilizing daffodils or tucked away deep in peoples collections.
From this whisky you will get sweetness of vanilla, apricot, honey and a subtle peat. Richer notes of biscuits, soft fruit and slight mineral notes create a delectable well rounded whisky.
