Welcome to Casa de Vinos
Casa de Vinos is proud to be Australia's destination for rare spirits, from Japanese whisky and artisanal Tequila, to single cask whisky, rum and cognac.
Originally based in Port Melbourne starting in 2010, we moved to our current location in South Melbourne across from the market in 2020 and are currently celebrating our 15th Anniversary this year. We're a family-run importer, distributor and specialist retailer with a sharp focus on rare spirits and direct relationships.
We are also proud to be the founders and organisers of Australia's premier whisky event Whisky Abbey, an annual festival dedicated to all things whisky.

Retail & Lounge
Our South Melbourne store isn't just for retail, it is for good times and quiet nights drinking wine or sipping away at exceptional spirits. With over 600 open bottles, you can try before you buy or build your own custom flight and watch the hours fly by. Drop by for our custom cocktails using our very own imports or for one of our many events in the Casa de Vinos Lounge.
Wholesale
We supply Australia’s top bars, restaurants, and independent retailers. Our trade clients get direct access to:
- Exclusive bottlings and allocations
- By-the-glass Lounge support
- Staff training and in-store events
We don’t work through reps. We deal direct.

Tastings & Masterclasses
Every week we host tastings, masterclasses and trade event, covering everything from mezcal to brandy. The focus is not at all on marketing, just purely the individual experience of smell and taste; many hosted at the Casa de Vinos Lounge.
