Ikawa Japanese Whisky

Ikawa produces Japanese whisky high in Shizuoka's Southern Alps, with precise production and distinct Flora and Fauna single malt releases in Japan.

Ikawa Japanese Whisky

Ikawa Distillery sits at roughly 1,200 metres above sea level in Shizuoka's Southern Alps. Juzan Co., Ltd. began whisky production there in November 2020, building the distillery story around its mountain setting, spring water and tightly controlled production.

A high-altitude distillery

Forest-filtered spring water and maturation in the Southern Alps provide a clear sense of place. Exact climate effects, cask recipes and awards remain tied to their official release sources rather than being applied across the full range.

Flora and Fauna

Ikawa's Dessin Series separates two house directions. Flora presents non-peated single malt, while Fauna introduces peated spirit. Browse each current release for its bottling year, ABV, cask composition and verified tasting notes.
