Australian Rum

Australia has been producting rum for well over 100 years, with Beenleigh being one of the key components in old British Navy rum consignments. As Australia has grown and changed, many new distilleries have begun making rum. These new distilleries aren't trying to recreate Caribbean rums, they use Australian conditions and ingredients to create unique styles of rum. If you have yet to try modern Australian rums, there are plenty of options, however some of our favourites include Burdekin and Nil Desperandum, both from Queensland.
