Clynelish 12 Years Old 2013 Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml | 52.3% ABV

This 2013 vintage Clynelish was selected as part of the Casa de Vinos and Thompson Bros partnership, matured in re-charred hogshead No. 313377 with an outturn of 102 bottles. It shows young Clynelish with wax, mineral structure and bright fruit in balance.

The nose brings orange, waxy honey, quince paste, green apple skin, mineral edge, orange pulp and peach stone. The palate is fresh and waxy, with orange, apple skin, barley husk, wet rock, salinity, oak char, liquorice, fennel, honey and mandarin pith, finishing long with marmalade, candle wax and pear drop.
