Rum Nation

Rum Nation: A World Atlas of Sugar‑Cane Spirit Rum Nation began life in 1999 when Italian broker Fabio Rossi – already famed for his whisky label Wilson & Morgan – turned his nose to the Caribbean. The concept was radical at the time: source high‑character rums from individual countries and bottle them with minimal intervention, proudly flying each nation’s flag on the label. Today the lineup reads like a tour guide for cane juice fans: earthy, pot‑still Demerara from Guyana; fruity column‑still Barbados; spicy, Spanish‑style Panama; and Jamaica’s hogo‑laden ester bombs. Each parcel is aged either in situ or under controlled European conditions, then often finished in ex‑sherry or PX casks for an extra flourish. Bottlings are typically released by vintage or age statement, cask strength when the character demands it, and never sweetened or coloured. Rum Nation has scooped category trophies at the International Rum Conference, IWSC and German Rum Awards – proving that transparency and terroir trump additives every time. Casa de Vinos is proud to champion Fabio’s philosophy in Australia. Look for the trademark postage‑stamp labels on our shelves, or order a tasting flight at Casa de Vinos Lounge. Rum Nation expressions also headline the “World of Cane” stand at Whisky Abbey each year. Exclusive Australian importer: Casa de Vinos. Trade enquiries: wholesale@casadevinos.com.au.
