Rare Whisky & The Worlds Best Cheese- 7pm Thursday 7th of September

It is with great pleasure we welcome you to our annual Rare whisky and the world’s best cheese event… We have selected a line-up of exceptionally rare and inquisitive whiskies representing a broad range of distilleries and styles.  For some of these bottles it will be the first time they have been in a tasting line-up in Australia.   We have decided to take this line-up to another level with the addition of expertly paired cheeses by world renown Cheese Monger, Laura Lown, who will be joining us on the night to share all of her amazing insight.   Some of the most highly regarded single cask bottlings we have ever had at Casa de Vinos accompanied by exquisite cheeses, some flown in internationally just for the night – this once again is set to be a tasting for the ages.   The night will include welcome drinks, your own cheese flight + accouterments and 6 x 15ml paired drams.  The 6 x 15ml samples in the line-up for the event are:

Glentauchers Distillery 31 Year Old 1989, Single Hogshead bottled by TWA for Three Rivers Tokyo, 44.1% abv

Allt-A-Bhainne 29 Year Old 1993, Single Hogshead 'After Derby Day' by Wemyss Malts, 46% abv

Secret Highland (Clyne......) 22 Year Old 1996, Sherry Hogshead, The Nose Art Collection by Whisky-Doris, 52.3% abv

Caol Ila 9 Year Old 2010, Single Red Wine Barrique, Whisky Broker, 58.1% abv

The Yuza Distillery First Edition 2022, 61% abv

Barbadillo Brandy 50 Year minimum solera, 40% abv
