Tomintoul 16 Years Old 2005 Finest Whisky Berlin Single Malt Scotch Whisky

This Tomintoul was aged for 16 years in a sherry butt before being bottled at a perfect cask strength of 53.5% abv.   Not a distillery we see super regularly in independently bottled single casks in Australia, but when we do they are always an absolute treat.   Huge waves of orchard fruits and vanilla on the nose with the fruit continuing on the palate in the form of sweeter red berry and fig notes.  The finish is long and malty with the fruit developing to Anzac biscuits and sponge cake.
