Bunnahabhain 13 Years Old 2009 Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml

This Bunnahabhain 13 year old was distilled in 2009 and aged in a sherry butt before bottling in 2022 at 54.4% abv with the cask yielding 342 bottles.   One of the parcel of 2009 single cask Bunnahabhain’s we have been seeing over the last few years that just keep giving and giving.  Like its counterparts this Bunnahabhain is sherry cask decadence personified, dark amber in colour with leaping notes of raisins, marzipan and fruit cake on the nose.   The palate is dry and elegant with honey, spice and freshly roasted peanuts amalgamating to a lengthy finish of dried fruits, pepper and green tea.
