This Ledaig 22 year old was laid down in 1997 and bottled in 2020 at a cask strength of 53.4% abv.   We have grown to start looking out more for this peated iteration from Tobermory, particularly the single casks around this age statement.  This bottle has the interplay of peat and fruit that really sets it apart, the peat on the nose is sweet like bbq meat rub, the palate then brings the fruit with the trinity of peat, fruit and spice really present from nose, palate and finish.
