Ardmore 32 Years Old 1988 700ml | 47.2%

One of the oldest single cask Ardmore ever released and an absolute world class whisky. When freshly opened the nostalgic and euphoric waft of new tennis balls bounces out of the glass. However after time the fruits and peat become more prominent; one to savour.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Tropical fruits basket with plenty of mangoes, pineapples and passionfruits which interplay beautifully with the everpresent earthy peat.

Palate: Peaches and leathers with touches of fresh tennis ball (our interpretation of the freshly cut grass note) with hints of iodine, mixed herbs and lots of slightly green banana.

Finish: Mineral orange paraffin with honey and vanillin barley sugars before soft earthy peat takes over.

Comments: An exceptional whisky which needs time in the glass and bottle to show its true unhidden flavours.
