This Caol Ila was distilled in 2006 and bottled at 15 years old at 47.3% abv as part of the newest range from The Auld Alliance.   To date this is the most incredible Caol Ila we have tried of this age statement and vintage, lots of distillery DNA and an amazing level of elegance for a whisky of just 15 years of age.   For fans of this distillery we would certainly recommend coming and giving this single cask a try or adding it to the collection.
