Fourth-generation maestro Alberto Ortiz gives this Palenqueros Espadin its identity. Made in Santa Maria La Pila, Oaxaca, and bottled at still strength, it puts producer, village and agave variety clearly in view.

The Palenqueros series was built around individual mezcaleros rather than a single house profile. Here, Espadin is presented with direct agave character, firm texture and the intensity expected from a 49% artisanal bottling.
