Glentauchers 31 Years Old 1989 Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 45.5% abv

Bottled to celebrate 15 years of The Nectar, from a distillery mostly known through independent bottlers as most of its production goes to the Ballantine's Blend. 

Nose: Full of tropical fruits, reminiscent of pineapple and papaya covered in a layer of honeyed malt, orange rind, lemon sugar, light vanilla, oak and a touch of nectarine. 

Palate: Full tropical fruits similar to the nose except with added oak, nectarine, mandarin and vanilla depth. 

Finish: Dry wood polish, powerful juicy papaya, orange rind once more and very light dessicated coconut which lingers.
