Torabhaig 7 Years Old 2018 Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml | 57.1% ABV

This 2018 vintage Torabhaig from Thompson Bros is a seven year old heavily peated single malt matured in first-fill bourbon barrels and bottled at 57.1% ABV. It shows the young Skye distillery's coastal peat character with plenty of weight and energy.

Expect clean smoke, rockpool salinity, chalk, capers, tropical citrus and grilled pineapple on the nose. The palate is sweet and smoky, with sea-salted toffee, buttery depth, white pepper and charred oak, finishing with smoky caramel, bonfire embers and a final breath of salinity.
