Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos 10 Years Old 2013 Dominican Rum 700ml 65.3% ABV

This rum was distilled in the Dominican Republic by AFD (Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos) Distillery, a large distillery that opened in 2010. At 10 years old this rum has been matured at the AFD Distillery and has been aged in Bourbon Cask before being transferred into Virgin Oak to be finished and bottled at 65.33%

Nose: Dried fruit, Vanilla, Brown sugar

Palate: Caramel, Nuts, Brine

Finish: Vanilla, Caramel, Oak Spice

The Nectar is a Belgium based importer and bottler started in 2006. They first started by importing and distributing high quality spirits. Thanks to the inspiration of Mario Groteklaes, an employee who has been part of the organization from the very beginning, and referring to the mythical and fantastic drinks of the ancient Greek gods, the company will be named „The Nectar“.

They now work with numerous distilleries globally, and they have been releasing their own single cask and independent bottles since 2008 when they launched the ‘Daily Dram’ series.
