Neisson Dekolaj Export Rhum I 700ml, 52.5% abv

DEKOLAJ is the first single plot cuvée developed by Grégory Vernant. Located in Carbet at an altitude of 245 meters, this very steep plot (35 degrees) called Clos Godinot benefits from significant temperature variations which allow for the harvest of sugarcane with a high sugar content. Outgoing yet simultaneously with a refined classicism, its aromatic and gustatory palette cultivates the art of contrast with great mastery. Its extremely rich and complex fruity register, reminiscent at times of fruit brandies, is irrefutable proof of this.

Nose : Rich, velvety. Particularly fruity (cherry, blackcurrant). With aeration, it elegantly evolves into notes of sugarcane juice. 

Palate :Fine, refined. Peppery, the mouthfeel exhibits heady flowers (geranium, carnation) with delicious flavors of white fruits (pear, mirabelle) and fresh sugarcane juice. The finish is softened by warm sugarcane.

Finish : Long, pulpy. In perfect continuity with the palate. Airy and subtle, the aftertaste is flooded with the menthol accents of fresh sugarcane juice.
