Part of La Maison du Whisky's Artist #8 sherry edition, this Bowmore was distilled in 2001 and aged for 17 years before bottling at 55.3%. The release was limited to 679 bottles, giving it a clear collector and independent-bottling context.

It keeps Bowmore's coastal peat at the centre, with sea spray, lemon peel and orange on the nose. The palate adds floral lift, guava, pineapple and orange peel, before a finish of medicinal smoke, salinity and fruit spice. A mature, expressive Bowmore with fruit and coastal smoke in balance.
