A 2008 Dominican Republic rum from the Flag Series, aged for 14 years on site before further continental maturation. Fully matured in Madeira casks, it leans into depth, rancio and polished fruit rather than simple sweetness.

Roasted peanut, toffee, orange zest and dried apricot lead the nose, with mango, guava, pepper and balsamic pine developing with air. The palate follows with orange zest, cane sugar, chocolate cream and guava, before a balanced finish of raspberry, wild strawberry, heather honey, saffron, gentian, sandalwood and salted butter caramel.
