Bottled as part of the new partnership between Casa de Vinos and Thompson Bros, this release totalled to only 96 bottles. For the third in our three releases, we chose a Glen Garioch matured in second fill barrel No. 4679. Long admired by whisky lovers worldwide, Glen Garioch is a stalwart of the Highlands and this bottling captures its bold, traditional fruity character beautifully.

Staff Tasting Notes

Nose: Apple cider and dry pear drops, with orange and lemon hard candy. A fruit-forward profile featuring fresh banana drizzled with honey.

Palate: Apple and pear continue, with light malt honey more pronounced than on the nose. Citrus rind adds a gentle bitterness, balanced by vanilla-led oak.

Finish: Clean and long. Fresh fruits, barley husk, dry pear drops, and light honey linger. Elegant, composed, and well resolved.

Overall: A celebration of fruit with touches of honey, and an excellent example of aged Glen Garioch distillate.
