Old Potrero Barrel Strength Malt Rye Whiskey 700ml

Old Potrero Barrel Strength Malt Rye is made from 100% malted rye grains and follows an older American whiskey idea rather than a modern sweet bourbon template. This specially selected cask was bottled at barrel strength, 63.64% ABV / 127.28 proof, for La Maison du Whisky in France.

Aged for 2.5 years in new uncharred oak barrels and produced on a pot still, it is a distinctive rye whiskey shaped by grain character, strength and historical production style. Expect the malted rye to bring texture and spice without the familiar corn sweetness of bourbon.
