Nose: rich, unctuous. characterised by notes of very ripe grape, pineapple, candied ginger, bourbon vanilla and precious wood, the nose reveals impressive concentration and depth. Allowed to breathe, medicinal, spice (clove, grey pepper) and balsamic notes (eucalyptus, pine) emerge.

Palate: dense, clean. Alongside vanilla and praline, the palate offers rich notes of Calisson d’Aix and flan. These then evolve into perfectly paired, fresh flavours of liquorice stick and cooked barley. This sensation of freshness endures in pleasant notes of herbal infusions (verbena, sage).

Finish: rich, smooth. Marked by honey (acacia), florals (iris), tangy notes of candied lemon and herbaceous notes of green barley, the finish is gradually coated in a fine layer of liquorice and cocoa powder. The retro-nasal olfaction brings medicinal (mustard seed) notes and gradually plunges us into a bucolic, spring atmosphere (buttercup, dandelion). The notes of noble wood in the empty glass evoke the warm feel of a carpenter’s workshop.
