The Disitllery

Fettercairn Distillery is located in the Highlands region of Scotland, near the town of Laurencekirk. It was founded in 1824 by Sir Alexander Ramsay, who saw an opportunity to create a distillery that would produce high-quality single malt Scotch whisky using the abundant supplies of water and barley in the area. The distillery's location on the slopes of the Cairngorm Mountains provides it with a unique microclimate, which helps to give its whiskies their distinctive character.

Over the years, Fettercairn Distillery has undergone several changes in ownership and has been expanded and modernized to increase production capacity.
