Secale is the rye-led release in La Maison du Whisky's Version Française Cerealis series, a range built around the grains that shape French whisky. Distilled in 2013 and bottled at over 10 years old, it uses a mash bill of 51% rye and 49% malt.

It reads as a distinctive French rye with enough grain structure for rye drinkers, softened by the malt component beneath it. Expect apple, cinnamon, cereal spice and a pastry-like sweetness, giving the whisky a warm, apple-scroll character without losing its dry rye edge.
