Auchentoshan 25 Years Old 1999 Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml | 52.1%

A well aged triple distilled Lowland beauty, this Auchentoshan was distilled just before the turn of the millennium and bottled 25 years later in 2024. 

Nose: Excellent notes of bright citrus surrounded by green fruits and mint leaves, cider apples and honey in the background. 

Palate: More green and yellow fruits with a touch of white pepper and hard candy. The back palate leaves a lingering resinous tone. 

Finish: Dried yellow fruits, almost hints of dried green mango and finishes with classic old malt minerality and a light touch of salinity. 

Overall: A very nice Auchentoshan which shines on the palate with a slightly thicker (than expected for the Lowlands) texture and lingering citrus finish.
