Distilled in 1972 and bottled at 50 years of age, this Château de Gaube Armagnac was selected by Baron de Lustrac from the estate's cellars in Magnan. It appears in the Version Française Antipodes collection at 44% ABV.

The provenance carries the bottle: a named estate, a specific cellar selection and five decades of maturation. Despite that age, the spirit retains a fresh fruit line rather than reading only as old oak and oxidative maturity.

Candied fruit, citrus and plum provide lift, while walnut and dark chocolate bring the depth expected of a long-aged Armagnac.
