The Fezas family produced this 1981 Armagnac at Domaine Chiroulet in Gascony's Ténarèze. Bottled in 2022 for Version Française Antipodes, the release comprised 450 bottles at 43.4% ABV.

Ugni Blanc grown on the estate's clay-limestone soils was distilled and matured in reused oak casks. That seasoned wood gives the long-aged spirit room to develop without making new oak the dominant story.

White grape, apricot and orange retain a clear fruit line, joined by walnut, chestnut and salted-butter caramel. Cinnamon, milk chocolate and almond bring the mature finish into focus.
