Nikka The Grain 2023 is a limited-edition Japanese blended grain whisky from Nikka's Discovery Series, built to show the complexity possible in grain whisky beyond standard blend components. It brings together spirits from Miyagikyo, Moji, Satsumatsukasa and Nishinomiya, using Coffey stills and other pot stills.

The nose is toasty and nutty, with vanilla, cereal and ripe tropical fruit. The palate moves through creamy caramel, almond milk, cinnamon, ginger, liquorice, apple pie filling and orange peel, before a long balanced finish of herbs, white pepper, mint, acacia honey, oak and lingering cereal.
