Another spectacular single cask from Sullivans Cove in Tasmania, this one matured in a single ex-Bourbon barrel. Barrel Code: TD0477

Nose: Vibrant tropical fruits, candied orange, macadamia, and jubes, along with vanilla bean, coconut, toffee, and soft oak

Palate: Creamy and full-bodied with notes of baked sweets, custard, maple, honey, and well-integrated oak

Finish: Medium-long finish, featuring warm vanilla, cinnamon sugar, pancakes, and a touch of ginger and citrus oils

Sullivans Cove Distillery:

Founded in 1994 as the second (ever) whisky distillery on the island of Tasmania, Sullivans Cove have since established themselves as a pillar of Australian whisky distilling. Although established in 1994, distillation of the whisky for which Sullivans Cove is now known began in 1999 with the distillery’s transfer to Highland Holdings ownership. Then in 2004 ownership was transferred again to Tasmania Distillery until the company changed name to reflect their whisky, thereafter being known as Sullivans Cove Distillery Pty. Ltd..
