Ben Nevis 8 Years Old 2013 Hogshead Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml | 46% ABV

This 2013 vintage Ben Nevis was bottled by Signatory Vintage at eight years old from hogshead maturation. It is a young, honeyed Highland malt with bold fruit and enough texture to make the distillery character clear.

The nose brings canned peach, caramel, mascarpone and light vanilla cream. The palate is subtly tea-like, fruity, sweet, spicy, smoky and peppery, before a finish of more peach, herbal tea notes and malt candy. A useful younger Ben Nevis focused on the distillery's texture rather than heavy sherry.
