Bottled for The Nectar's 15th anniversary from Signatory Vintage stock, this 1972 vintage North of Scotland is a rare look at a closed grain distillery after almost half a century in cask. The distillery was active between 1957 and 1980, making this a bottle with real historical weight as well as mature-grain appeal.

Expect dark chocolate, furniture dust, baked vanilla, sweet apple, cocoa and dusty cereal grain on the nose. The palate moves through caramelised cereals, brioche, vanilla ice cream, toasted hazelnut, floral honey and custard, finishing with crushed almond, cinnamon, clove and heather.
