The oldest whisky in Artist #15's Dark Side Of The Moon chapter, this Mortlach was distilled in 1989 and bottled at over 35 years old. It brings the distillery's weighty Dufftown character into a long-matured, sherry-cask setting.

The nose is ample and elegant, with wax, candied orange, roasted walnut, vanilla pod, musk, salted butter caramel, bay leaf and Sichuan pepper. The palate is rich and silky, moving through verbena, chamomile, saffron, cardamom, green tea, compote, lavender honey, pineapple, banana and cocoa. The finish is long, stately and textural, with mature fruit, spice and a quiet malty depth.
